Description of Services

Brushing and flossing are just the beginning. Preventive dental care stops problems before they start. We incorporate any and all of the following to ensure your Dental Health:

  • Complete Oral Exams- You will experience improved oral health when you have your teeth examined regularly. DIAGNOdent technology enables us to find decay sooner and with greater precision.
  • Oral Cancer Screening- Because early detection is vital to surviving oral cancer, we perform a thorough oral cancer screening each and every time we perform an oral exam.
  • Thorough Cleaning of your Teeth- Critical to preserving your dental and overall health, regular teeth cleanings prevent decay and the spread of disease.
  • Sealants- An excellent way to prevent plaque from collecting and forming cavities, we place clear or white plastic sealants in the grooves of the biting surfaces of back teeth, some of the hardest areas to keep clean.
  • Fluoride- This is a proven preventive measure. When tooth decay is a problem, topical applications after the cleaning help reduce the chance of future cavities. At home, applications with rinses or prescription toothpastes are beneficial for some patients.
  • MI Paste-   This cutting-edge preventive measure enables early breakdown of tooth minerals to be stopped and reversed. Often this prevents an early lesion from becoming a cavity.
  • Home care instruction- We customize these to every patient, but they all have the same basics: proper brushing and flossing.

Treatment

Gentle, Caring Dental Treatment

When necessary, we use gentle excellence to perform our treatment.

  • White “Metal Free” Fillings- These mercury-free, composite fillings restore your tooth’s natural appearance. They require less tooth structure removal, are strong and durable, and are less temperature sensitive than metal fillings.
  • Gum Treatment- Gum disease treatment can slow or stop the progression of gum disease. Different stages require different levels of treatment, including scaling and root planning, medications, and strict home-care regimens. In some cases, we may refer you to a specialist.
  • All-Porcelain Metal-Free Crowns- For beautiful, natural-looking teeth, you might choose these.
  • Implants- We offer implants in conjunction with referral to highly trained specialists. They help stop bone loss and are used as an alternative to bridges or with dentures. Surgically-implanted, small, titanium cylinders replace the roots of missing teeth. We then restore the missing teeth with precisely fitted abutments (special posts) and crowns.
  • Root Canal Treatment- This treats the tooth when the root canal of your tooth becomes infected and can be an alternative to extraction.
  • Oral Surgery- Uncomplicated extractions are performed. We refer complicated extractions to highly-trained oral surgeons.
  • Dentures- For improved health, smile, and confidence, we can provide you with full or partial dentures.
  • Athletic Mouth Guards- This customized oral appliance provides protection for your teeth while participating in sports.
  • Nightguards- To help prevent a devastating loss of tooth structure from grinding or clenching your teeth at night, we can provide you with a custom-fitted nightguard.
  • Porcelain Laminates- These help correct spaces and minor defects in a smile.
  • Full Mouth Rehabilitation- This is sometimes necessary when there has been major damage, due to neglect, or some other cause.
  • Tooth Whitening-  Our patients’ favorite way of achieving a brighter and whiter smile is through the Zoom 2 whitening process. This procedure is done in one visit to our office, and in about an hour your teeth will become dramatically whiter.

Dental Implants

Smile Often, Smile Strong With Dental Implants

Dental Implants offer you the natural look and feel of your original teeth and are a lasting replacement for missing teeth.

Just Like New

Dental Implants simulate natural teeth, and they look, feel, and work just like the real thing. Missing teeth make it more difficult to speak clearly, eat food effectively or smile confidently. They also accelerate jaw deterioration, which noticeably ages facial appearance. Dental implants offer an option to avoid these experiences through a planned surgical and restorative process.

Strong And Comfortable

Dental Implants utilize a process known as osseointegration, which begins when small titanium alloy posts are inserted directly into the jaw at the site of missing teeth. Over time, the jaw bone will begin to bond with the titanium alloy, producing a naturally strengthened base to attach high-grade artificial teeth. The total process length varies from patient to patient, but if you are interested in Implants, discuss this with Dr. Tsiatis and he will work out a personalized plan of action and schedule for you.

You At Your Best

A healthy set of teeth is a major part of a healthy lifestyle and will change your life. If properly maintained, Dental Implants can serve as a long lasting solution – restoring confidence, peace of mind, and the simple things like a pain-free and worry-free meal. The titanium alloy also strengthens the jaw, preventing accelerated facial aging.  While there is no perfect replacement for your natural teeth, Dental Implants are a very effective and attractive solution.
